REVIEWS FOR THINGS NO ONE WANTS TO SAY
- Micah the Poet writes of emergence: manhood, healing, and love. Things Nobody Else Wants to Say documents a journey into being that is neither linear nor complete but always fiercely mining for vulnerable truth.
-Bettina Judd, author of patient.
- Micah the Poet has given voice and body to matters that are often ignored. He calls out misogyny, homophobia and racism in a way he only knows how and this to be brutally honest. Intentionally dismantling social norms, he purposely disassembles and rebuilds himself while instructing others to do the same. Things No One Else Wants to Say is the brutal, beautiful brilliance we need!

- Micah the Poet's words, after being hidden so long, have found their way to my heart. I could not put the manuscript down; calling it a page-turner of poetry and intimate stories is not doing it justice. The vulnerability, the exposing of intimate thought processes and decisions written in poetry triggers inspiration I haven't seen in years. I appreciate the care for the written word; and Micah will grow to be legendary status; if Micah chooses to follow the calling of the work. I'm looking forward to the next book, already.

DJ Misfitz did an awesome job for my mom's retirement party. This was my first time planning a party, and he was very helpful. The booking process was simple, he also asked was there anything special he should play for the event. I thought it was great the he asked for my input. DJ Misfitz kept the party moving smoothly breaking for blessing of the food and speeches. He was also very accommodating with taking the guest request for music. I have to say DJ Misfitz was very professional and friendly to all the guest. If I ever have another event I would definitely be booking DJ Misfitz for the event. I just want to say thanks so much for making my mom retirement party special for her and her friends.

Micah is an amazing poet and an even more amazing performer! He is prompt in his responses to booking inquiries and puts on a hell of a show! He is flexible and easy to work with. He always makes his audience feel as though they have some control over the performance. It is these interactions that make Micah the iconic performer that he is. You leave his shows some how changed for the better, with a whole heap of things to ponder on!
